What started as regular updates in a text message training group with friends, has morphed into these short video mashups. Not from an egotistical point of view of 'looking how great I am' or 'look what I can do and you can't do'. Because we all have different training goals and varying commitment's to training, but more as a unit of account. Documenting our sessions and progress towards our individual goals.

Ironically after more than 25 years of helping others with their physical training I've never really spoken about or shared my own training. Not that it's anything special. It's ironic because one of the reasons I help others with their training is as a way to fund my own training.

If I couldn't be paid to train or compete as an athlete myself, being paid to train them was the next best thing!

The rise in social media had also put me off sharing more with the clickbait topics, photoshopping of images/video and letting the incentives of a large following and clicks and likes determine most peoples behaviours. The shortcuts people will take to appear noble in the online physical training space never ceases to amaze me.

Years ago I heard Darren Hardy say you can live in the world but not be of this world. So I'm applying that philosophy to what I share online. Hopefully I'm able to do this and not get sucked into the virtuous vortex!

I'll aim to upload 1-2 videos a week.
